Inverted Dammah: It is also called Ulti Pesh. It sounds like Maddah Wau and so is pronounced the same way. That is, we stretch it for two harakat (or two seconds or two beats).
Short Madd and Long Madd: Prolongation (or lengthening or stretching) of sound is called Madd. Any letters which carries the signs of Madda over it, Fatha, Kasra or Damma of this letter should be prolonged (stretched).
