Read the Hadith and discuss with your family the question that follows. Narrated by a companion of the Prophet (S): We used to reserve for the Prophet (S) his share of the milk. He would come at night and offer greetings in such a manner that did not disturb those who were asleep and was heard only by those who were awake. What can we learn from this Hadith? Our Prophet Muhammad (S) made sure that he was respectful to others in his words and actions. He was mindful of others and would not disturb them. Here are some ideas for us: If you would like to recite Quran late at night when others are sleeping, recite in a soft voice so only you can hear it. Some Muslims practice fasting during this month of Shaban. When you wake up for Suhoor, prepare your food quietly to respect others in the house who are sleeping. By doing this, we hope that our good efforts will be accepted by Allah (swt).

The "Sukun" sometimes looks like a small letter "o" or a small "c" above the second letter that is blended. After you see the mini-lesson, photo-copy or download and copy surah Al-Adiyat (which they were asked to memorize) and identify all the instances where they see a "Sukun" in the surah.
