Sunday, Dec. 11th, is the MEC Sunday School Internal Qirat Competition. Emails have been sent out to Qirat competitors’ parents with instructions and expectations. Please plan to arrive by 9:45am to have your student drop off their belongings to their classroom and await the volunteer to bring them to the gym. Parents may proceed to the gym at 10am. There will be snacks for sale and a selfie station to take pics.
Student Absences and Early Dismissals
In the event of either a student absence or early dismissal, please email the principal@mecsundayschool.org as soon as possible. When you arrive to pick up your student, notify the security desk, sign in, and please be patient till your student is brought to you. Parents are not allowed to go to the classroom to retrieve students. Please wait in the lobby.
Excessive absences.
We meet 35 times this year, and one absence is enough to set a student back. Excessive absences will result in the student being burdened under a backlog of work and potentially risking being held back. In case of a medical excuse, arrangements can be made with the teacher and administration.
Google Classrooms
You student(s) should have their MEC Sunday School email addresses by now.
All returning students will continue to use their previous year’s logins and passwords.
All new student emails are as follows: firstname.lastname@mecsundayschool.org. The password is their birthday in the following format yyyy-mm-dd.
